Die Namensauflösung im Webbrowser oder bei wget dauert sehr lange


Manchmal kann es vorkommen, daß die DNS-Auflösung sehr lange dauert. Dies liegt wohl an einem Eintrag in der /etc/modprobe.d/aliases. Folgendes ist aus dem Bord: ( http://kanotix.mipooh.net/viewtopic.php?t=2264 )
  • man wechselt zu root,
  • dann gehste in das Verezeichnis /etc/modprobe.d/, dort git es die Datei aliases. Mit (zum Beispiel) kwrite öffnen und dann findest Du da eine Menge an Einträgen, zum Beispiel
 lias net-pf-3 ax25 
 alias net-pf-4 ipx 
 alias net-pf-5 appletalk 
 alias net-pf-6 netrom 
 alias net-pf-7 bridge 
 alias net-pf-8 atm 
 alias net-pf-9 x25 
 **alias net-pf-10 ipv6 **
 alias net-pf-11 rose 
 alias net-pf-12 decnet 


Uns interesiert der Eintrag alias net-pf-10 ipv6! Hier ipv6 durch off ersetzen, speicher und fertig. Sieht dann so aus:
 lias net-pf-3 ax25 
 alias net-pf-4 ipx 
 alias net-pf-5 appletalk 
 alias net-pf-6 netrom 
 alias net-pf-7 bridge 
 alias net-pf-8 atm 
 alias net-pf-9 x25 
** alias net-pf-10 off **
 alias net-pf-11 rose 
 alias net-pf-12 decnet
